MATA-USA Courtesy Visit to the Embassy of Cameroon in Washington, D.C.

 

**MATA-USA Delegation Meets with His Excellency Henri Etoundi Essomba, Ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon**

 

On September 18, 2026 a delegation from the Mamfe Town Association USA, Inc. (MATA-USA) paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Cameroon in Washington, D.C., where the delegation had the distinct honor of meeting with His Excellency Henri Etoundi Essomba, Ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon.

 

The courtesy visit provided a valuable opportunity for MATA-USA to formally introduce its leadership, share the Association’s history and community-focused initiatives, and engage in a meaningful and educational dialogue with His Excellency on matters of community development and service connected to Mamfe Town and its people.

 

The MATA-USA delegation expressed its sincere appreciation to His Excellency Ambassador Henri Etoundi Essomba and the Embassy of Cameroon for the warm reception, hospitality, and time extended to the Association. The meeting was cordial, productive, and informative, and represented an important opportunity for MATA-USA to strengthen its engagement with the Embassy and deepen its understanding of opportunities for constructive community service and collaboration.
